Fellowships at Karnataka ENT Hospital and Research Center (R)

To provide advanced training to the junior colleagues in the various Specialties of Otolaryngology, the Karnataka ENT Hospital & Research Center, offers Long Term and Short Term fellowship programs. The principal goal of these programs is to prepare the junior ENT Colleagues for their successful practice or teaching job in their desired choice of specialty.
These fellows not only undertake training in their sub-specialty of interest, but also serve as junior faculty members in a MCI recognized Medical Institution. This program will be soon accredited by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India. Candidates from any state/Union Territory, who have finished their DLO, DNB or MS are eligible for the same. International Candidates should have an equivalent qualification and register with Medical Council of India.

Long Term Fellowship

This is of 1 to 2 year period depending on the candidates previous surgical exposure and progress in the fellowship program. A moderate honorarium is paid to the candidates for their financial support during this period. This fellowship program is offered twice a year, during January and July. Short Term Fellowships

This is of 30 days one month intensive Hands-on training course under supervision in various sub-super specialties of Otorhinolaryngology provided to the surgeons with previous basic surgical experience. This program is offered throughout the year on mutually convenient dates. This is a self-financing course and no financial support will be provided by us.
